Frank Martela is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Helsinki. He is most excited about intrinsic motivation, compassion, work engagement, eudaimonia, and meaning in life, which he explores both through psychological and philosophical methods. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Philosophy and Organizational Research from Aalto University, Finland in 2012.
