SDT has shaped successful, cutting-edge individual, group, and m-health interventions that help clients improve their psychological health as well as change their health behaviors (e.g., lose weight, improve diet and physical activity, quit smoking, reduce stress and increase vitality). We will discuss unique features and challenges in each of these applications. Further we will examine the translation of these applications to research and community based programs.
